Dr. Jereesh A S
is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department
of Computer Science at Cochin University of Science
and Technology.
He received Bachelor’s degree in Computer science and
engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of technology
Kottayam in the year 2007 and received Master’s degree
in Computer science and engineering (Information Security)
from the National Institute of technology Calicut in
the year 2010. He took PhD degree in the Department
of Computer science and engineering at National Institute
of Technology Calicut in the year 2015. He started his
career as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer
Science of Adishankara Institute of Science and Technology
Kalady in the year 2014. Later He joined the department
of Computer Science, CUSAT, in October 2015.
His research interests include the Image processing,
Bioinformatics, data mining and evolutionary algorithms.
He has served as a member in organizing committee in
‘ISB2010’, an International ACM conference on bio computing
conducted by computer science department, NIT, Calicut
and also served as a member in organizing committee
in ‘ISB2011’, an Indo-US workshop on bio computing conducted
by computer science department, NIT, Calicut. He is
a reviewer of Elsevier journal of Biomedical Informatics.
He served as a reviewer of International Conference
on Advances in Computing, Communications and Information
Science 2014 and International Conference of Information
System and Data Mining 2017 held in University of Charleston,
USA. He is a reviewer of International Conference on
Data Science & Engineering. |
